@DoomTra1n Not to mention, most servers are probably from 3rd party providers, and the players pay for that or rent those themselves.
I really hope the lobby thing dies out and you can pick your servers for every game again. I like playing mods like Q4Max, CPMA, INstagib , GTR. Random nameless L4D2 modded servers. CSS modded servers. Mods can keep certain games running for a long time.
Gah, there is so many players that are too lazy to update. In update yourself games. There’s so many people playing on different patches. Some games look nearly dead , but it’s not. there’s 100′s on 1.0, a few on 1.3, another 100 on the latest update and a few more hundred in between say the 10 patches that were made.
I think the patch thing is a lie, you can patch the game w/out having to force players into a lobby based system. Yes, u said it. they’re just too greedy to provide a few servers
@eftultimate Playing single player? LOL, maybe for 6-8 hours than I’d get bored and probably uninstall it. I’ve had Quake 4 and Quake Live installed for like 3-6 years just for multiplayer
@Corzizzle actually i do agree with most of that but on pc most people like the social aspect for example if i join a modded zombie server and i like the server me and the other people who play the server regularly become friends and talk

mw2 really sucked, mw2 ripped me off…honnestly. Was waaaaay better before with dedicated servers. console players dont understand their lack of knowledge toward a good gaming experience>. xbox 360 or ps3 is not the best way to play 1st person shooter.

Why don’t you read that post over again. I never said that Consoles were made to play online, I said Console gamers take what they can get and don’t’ care, where PC gamers Demand more.
Try paying attention next time. The Console’s on the other hand are dieing breeds. Look in the history of gaming and you will see. While the Console is made for a Specific purpose, it is limited to maturing, therefore is destine to die. PC isn’t , and is built to mature with the industry!

Dah What your Argument is worthless. this isn’t a Dispute about Console gamers. The statement mearly says, console gamers settle for whatever tehy get, PC gamers on teh other hand demand more, adn teh move that IWNet made is a bad one. For my Way of life? WTF does that mean I have all the consoles, and none of them are worth a Dump to play online with. They aren’t built for it, so why taylor teh games to them and only them.
